How to Sign In

This guide walks you through signing in to Synderys services using your organization credentials and multi-factor authentication.

Before You Begin

You will need:

  • Your Synderys username (provided by IT during onboarding)
  • Your password
  • Your enrolled MFA device (authenticator app or security key)

Sign-In Steps

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to https://auth.synderys.com.

  2. On the login screen, enter your username in the first field.

  3. Enter your password in the second field.

  4. Click Sign In.

  5. When prompted for multi-factor authentication, complete the MFA challenge:

    Open your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator) and enter the six-digit code displayed for your Synderys account.

    When the browser prompts you, insert or tap your security key (YubiKey or passkey). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification.

  6. Optionally, check the Remember me box to stay signed in for longer (see Session Duration below).

  7. After successful authentication, you will be redirected to the Synderys application portal.

What to expect

After signing in, you will see the Synderys Application Portal — a dashboard showing all the applications you have access to. From here you can launch any authorized service with a single click, without needing to sign in again.

Session Duration

Your login session lasts for 15 minutes by default. After 15 minutes of inactivity, you will be asked to sign in again. This is a security requirement to protect your account.

If you check the Remember me box during sign-in, your session is extended to approximately 4 hours. This is useful when you are actively working and don't want to re-authenticate every 15 minutes.

Remember me does not bypass MFA

Checking "Remember me" extends your session but does not skip the MFA step on your next login. You will always need your authenticator or security key when signing in.

Signing Out

To sign out of your account:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of any Synderys application.
  2. Select Sign Out.
  3. Close your browser tab for maximum security.

What to expect

After signing out, you will be returned to the login screen. Any active sessions in other Synderys applications will also be terminated.

Troubleshooting FAQ

Q: I entered my credentials but the page just refreshes without an error. : Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again. If the problem persists, try a different browser or a private/incognito window.

Q: I see "Invalid credentials" but I am sure my password is correct. : Your account may be locked after multiple failed attempts. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or contact IT for assistance.

Q: The MFA prompt does not appear after I enter my password. : Ensure your MFA device is enrolled. If you have not set up MFA yet, see Setting Up Multi-Factor Authentication.

Q: My authenticator app code is rejected. : TOTP codes are time-sensitive. Ensure your phone's clock is set to automatic. If codes continue to fail, contact IT to re-enroll your MFA device.

Q: I lost access to my MFA device. : See Account Recovery for instructions on regaining access to your account.
